Giving Legos a Boost!

Last week at CES, Lego announced "Lego Boost" kits that allow younger kids to code, using an app & an iOS/Android device, and build their own robots! Apparently you can take the "robot" brick and apply it to standard Legos too. You can read more about it on Verge.

There is one downside, it's not expected to be released until the 2nd half of 2017 but if you're looking for a great gift for the budding Lego designer (or yourself!), for the holidays, you may have already found 2017's hottest toy!
